This is one of the things I’m learning through NaBloPoMo. “One day” is an excruciating deadline to work around.
Even if I knock it out of the park on Monday, I start over on Tuesday: I go to work, get home, cook, eat, sort my life out; now I have to come up with an idea, write it down, make it make sense, and publish.
Doing well on day X just means I’ve used up an idea that can’t be used on day X+1.
I move forwards regardless: I don’t do this because it’s easy, I do this because I thought it would be easy.
Note: I’m kidding; I thought this would be really difficult. I was right.
